LOL….I had to do the appraisal of this massive bronze…
There are one or two small offspring following behind.
Got some strange looks when I was photographing the group and measuring all the components.
Won’t tell you how much it is all worth — but any large bronze group is worth a buck or two. In fact, I have even heard of thieves carting off bronzes to sell for the scrap metal. Recycling at its lowest.

Hah that’s too funny. The elephant family is one of my favourite Toronto sculptures. I must get some better pics and put up the artists name.
And there you go, one step ahead of me just like the old days:)
But answer me this: Who and where is the bust I use for my icon?
I bet you’ve seen it or passed it before. (there is a clue somewhere on the site)
And oh yeah, if you have a few minutes here and there, perhaps you’d consider contributing to Loon Theory. (in case you don’t have a name yet for your own theory – as you may have heard, that can be a problem) I have no idea which of your many areas of knowledge or expertise you might write about, but I do know it would be very interesting.
Think about it. Could be fun.
Really glad you dropped by.

Of course I’d just be using you in a probably vain attempt at super-imposing a thin veneer of scholarly research, polish and respectability to this otherwise wacky little nuthouse of a blog.
But hey, you can’t blame me for trying!
