It was so good to hear this song play on the rock station, and your song, What’s Done Is Done, too. I hope to hear all of them playing, soon, and more of your music recorded.

I love your music, and what it portrays – the authentic, strong but vulnerable, compassionate, intellectual but brooding, mysterious, eccentric, possibly troubled, poet/musician with something more than rock music to offer – it’s classic and though I don’t like drawing comparisons, I have to say that it reminds me of LC – the master himself – but with the twist of your own slightly unusual skill set …

I want more :)

It is not possible for me to say which one of your songs is my favorite because I love them all so much.

I cannot get enough of the way you sing “heat” in the line “white light and white heat … have to keep rewinding and listening to that again and again :)

Love the contrast of heavy bass and percussions and light strings, and female back up just at the right portion.

Amazing piece. Just amazing.

You’re welcome. Thanks for the updates. It’s wonderful that you provide insight into your process, which I find absolutely fascinating. I’m learning so much from you. And I love that you list your equipment. Really interesting stuff. I think any non musician who loves listening to music should read your blog. Gives the listener a new appreciation for how much work is involved in producing a song. I’ve said since forever that the one thing I can’t do, or has eluded me thus far, is to create music. I believe I could do just about anything else at some level or another, but not music, other than appreciate it, at a push repeat it, but never create it. I am in awe of musicians. Especially the great ones, and you are a great musician.

Dave, this could possibly be your best yet. I love it so much, have listened over and again. I love your voice in this song, raspy, rough, very sexy. The lyrics are, as always, profound. Beautiful, evocative music and poetic lyrics, beautifully executed, gorgeous guitar, and again, have to agree with previous comment – love the contrast in voices, another beautiful creation! Reminds me of a whimsical, almost forgotten time … this song reminds you that those whims still exist.

I am listening as I write. I love this! It really is very nice; powerful, beautiful and has an epic feel about it. I love the way you build – subtle yet relentless. Nice contrast with the violin (viola?) then the orchestra comes back. Really sweet! Ending is rather abrupt almost harsh. Is that your intent? Great job. Great job.

As I sit abnd watch the young men and women in Iran, stand and proclaim their intentions of respect and fairness, with freedoms as its main goal; and I hear the leaders, these men of another age, threaten anyone that so stands up for their rights with violence, and now the shout and pain of the many deaths, I see only one way that his can go…Those who are strong enouggh and willing to face the worst to gain the best for their friends, families and country, must keep going…Become organized and state the purposes of this now…Hope that through the maturity of your stands, others of the higher offices and military will realize what is trully there and join you all…The men of the religious standards so good Of Islam, who realize that they too are needed and are in agreement, must also join…And one way to curtail the governmnet is through boycotts…When the economy begins to fall apart, then perhaps, they will silently collect their coughers of monies, and steal way in the night… All that is to be done is a broad sense of strengths, andnot to waver, and hope and pray others will come to walk with you…My prayers are there with each and everyoine of you…May the light of Allah, give you all strength and lead your hearts in the ways of justice…

Let me say, Khamenei is not Iranian grand cleric, he is the most hated man in that country. However, with his terror creating 300,000 well-paid militia, 300,000 revolotionary!!! guard, he has been rulling that nation. This man do not know anything other than endless and unlimited power and protesters have to pay for this man unreal and bruthal ideaology.
He gave green light to his militia to kill people and gave the responsibility of any protesting killin to protestors.
